Neutrogena Launches New Sunscreen with Cloud-Tech

Neutrogena introduces a K-Beauty-inspired sunscreen featuring BEMT, the first new FDA-approved sunscreen filter in over 25 years.

Neutrogena is launching Cloud-Tech, a new sunscreen technology featuring bemotrizinol (BEMT), the first new FDA-approved sunscreen filter in over 25 years, to deliver next-generation sun protection.

The new technology will be available in 2 new sunscreens: Neutrogena Clear Face Sunscreen SPF 60 and Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Daily Face Sunscreen SPF 70.

Chris Riat, Global Neutrogena Brand Leader, commented:

“Cloud-Tech was inspired by the K-beauty sunscreens consumers love and the experience they increasingly expect from daily sun protection. As a leader in suncare, Neutrogena has a responsibility to keep advancing the category. This launch reflects how we are challenging outdated expectations and delivering the high-level protection consumers need in a formula they will want to wear every day.”

This advancement comes as people seek both stronger protection and a better product experience that would make daily facial sunscreen use more appealing.

For the first time, Neutrogena is combining sunscreen with ingredients like its patented Micro-Peptide Technology and niacinamide to address targeted concerns such as visible signs of aging and acne-prone skin.

Also, Cloud-Tech combines BEMT with existing filters in Neutrogena’s proprietary Helioplex360 technology for stronger protection.

These new sunscreens have a weightless feel and an invisible-like texture that is designed to feel like a cloud on the skin. The formulas are fast-drying and provide a silk finish for sunscreen that feels and blends like skincare.
